The parts are for an ensemble of 3 trumpets, horn in F or Eflat, 2 trombones and/or euphoniums/baritones in bass or treble clef and tuba/bass in Eflat. The pieces work fine with not having all parts present as there is some doubling in the score. They have been extensively performed in public by a school brass ensemble.
